History of Tesco

Yes, we all bought something from Tesco before, which is the kind of store where people think everything is really cheap, but I have noticed that it's not really cheap, maybe it's just

Anyway, this is how Tesco has become great over the years.

Creating Tesco.

Tesco was founded by Jack Cohen in 1919 when he started selling grocery from a small London East End London stall.

The name 'Tesco' was founded when Jack Cohen bought a series of tea from T.e.

He created the label using the first three letters of the provider's name, which is Tes and their first two letters of him, that's CO.

When was the first store opened?

The first Tesco store was opened in 1929.

It bought a few stores and supermarkets until the 1950s when it grows significantly and has more than 800 stores.

The company bought out of different smaller stores.

A new leader and expanding the company.

In 1973, Jack Cohen resigned and was replaced by his son-in-law Leslie Porter.

In 1994, Tesco fought Sainsbury's to control a Dundee-based company operating 57 stores.

In 1997, Tesco also expanded into Ireland.

Tesco offers more food.

In 1995, Tesco started Internet shopping service still works and still has profits for the company.

Since 2001, Tesco has spread his company across England and basically bought a small company that they think is worthy.

Tesco now provides car insurance and homes, it has its own mobile network, it has six different types of shops: Tesco Extra, Tesco SuperStores, Tesco Metro, Tesco, Tesco Express, Tesco Homeplus and a stop

Now these are two things I'm not too sure are right, but you can make your own mind:

There are no movies like Charlie and Tesco Factory.
