World zombie day |
World Zombie Day falls on October 13, taking place on the same day every year, this is an international event that started in 2006.
This day is held for fans of zombie culture to raise awareness together to alleviate hunger and homelessness.
The day is celebrated in more than 50 cities worldwide, including London, New York, Pittsburgh, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Tokyo.
To celebrate, people often disguise themselves as walking dead, and together do the exact same thing zombies do… walk.
The first Zombie Walk took place at Pittsburgh's Monroeville Mall, where George Romero filmed Dawn of the Dead.
If you're looking for other ways to celebrate, why not watch your favorite movie or TV show about the zombie?
Lastly, we want to share with you a basic guide on how to survive the zombie apocalypse.
