Game designer Hideki Kamiya has completed the original Resident Evil 2 (1998) and is planning the next game.
The working title was Resident Evil: Team Little Devil.
While studying medieval Spanish architecture, he soon changed his concept and premise.
Focusing more on survival horror, he directed and released Devil May Cry.
The game follows half the demon, the mysterious mercenary Dante, and his challenge - to stop the demon emperor Mundus from returning to the human world and taking full control.

During the game, Dante meets and gets the help of Lucia, an artificial demon and a member of a clan that wishes to protect humans and life.
She is a playable character in the game.
Devil May Cry 3
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening appeared in 2005, as part of the prequel to previous games.
Dante is set on a mission to prevent his brother Vergil and the demon-worship scholar Arkham from uniting humans and the demon world into one entity.
Dante's Awakening saw the arrival of Reuben Langdon, who not only voiced Dante but also performed motion capture for the character.
Interestingly, Langdon resumes his role as Dante in Devil May Cry 4, the English dub of Devil May Cry: The Animated Series and Marvel vs. Marvel.
Dante's new friend in the game is Mary, who changed her name to Lady after meeting Dante.
A demon hunter, she is the daughter of Arkham and is responsible for the game's narrative.
Lady also reappeared in Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry: The Animated Series.
Devil May Cry 4
Devil May Cry 4 divides the game with two playable characters;
