Goodbye Gun Emoji, Hello Water Pistol!
With the latest release of iOS 10, many of us are excited about the latest features, including removing default apps we never use!
Time for Apple - I don't want your iBooks… or your News.
It also offers great features like changing the flash light intensity, finding where you've parked your car and some sort of futuristic photo searcher;
But with all these new features in iOS 10, people really only have one question ...
What happened to the gun emoji?
I'm sorry to say this but, it's gone, gone forever!
So what will replace the empty space where the pistol used to live?
It all started with a bug report from June 20, 2016, where Neven Mrgan reported a bug stating:
Due to this bug report, the gun emoji has now been replaced with the pistol.
I understand why they changed it, and that makes sense, but I know I'm not the only one who loves that gun emoji.
What's your point of view?
Would you remember it or would you agree that the gun emoji is a reminder of a weapon that causes the death of thousands of people, not just in the United States but around the world?
Personally, I like the water pistol.
