Foaming event about 7 up
Although it may not be as popular as Coca-Cola, 7 Up is one of the leading soda brands in the world.
This lemon lemon flavor flavor is always perfect on a hot summer day.
Around 1929, 7 Up had a lot of time to name themselves and that exactly what it did!
But surviving too long also means having an interesting history to learn, and the truth will be read!
7 ups have originated from orange soda
Founder 7up Charles Leiper Grigg, is an unhappy employee who is making ads and marketing for an orange soda company.
Finally, he quit his job to create his own orange soda that he called "Howdy".
Unfortunately with Orange Crush as his main competitor, Howdy was unsuccessful because it didn't contain any true orange countries.
Instead, it only has essential oils found in the orange peel, but it is not enough to compete with the doctors now tell people how important vitamin C is.
He focused on another place, testing many different formulas for two years.
Finally, he developed a new drink called "Bib-Litchiated Lime-Lemon-Lemon-Lemon Soda" - what a secret!
This was finally shortened into "7 Lemon Lemon Soda", before it was shortened again just "7Up".
Lithium root formula
Before FDA was banned from Lithium in Beer and Freshwater in 1948, it was used by many people as an antidepressant and raised the mood.
This is likely that Griggs saw a business idea, realizing that by packing his new drink with lithium is a great marketing strategy.
And he was right!
With its foundation in advertising and marketing from his previous job, nothing strange when he can beat this great idea.
Of course, when lithium is banned from drinks, the 7UP formula has been changed 2 years together with many other remarkable freshwater containing mood changes.
But we can still enjoy it for what it is - a delicious vial and bubble!
Nobody knows where 7 came from
Although we see the history of the way the name is shortened into 7up, no one knows for sure what this comes from or its meaning!
There are a few theories, however.
The initial formula of 7up contains only seven components: sugar, carbonated water, essence of lemon oil and lime, citric acid, sodium citrate and lithium citrate.
When 7up is sold for the first time, it is produced in the 7 ounce bottle.
Another theory is that Charles Grigg happened to see cattle with similar marks.
Some people say that 7up is an encrypted reference for the original lithium in this remarkable freshwater - because lithium has atomic mass about 7.
Another speculation is that Grigge thinks about it in place while root for sevens in a craps game - a game that he won, thanks to the seventies!
Similarly, there are rumors that he has won a property at the Poker due to the Saturday "Up" card processed for him.
However, even with all these theories, no one knows which one is right, if so!
Which do you think can be the most reliable?
No problem, Griggs took that answer to him in the grave.
