Facts about Xbox 360


Xbox 360 is the second video game console produced by Microsoft, the first being just the Xbox.

It competed with the Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

Xbox 360 was first released on November 22, 2005, and since then more than 70 million Xbox 360 consoles have been sold worldwide.

There are more than 1000 Xbox 360 games available, and about 7.5 games sold to every Xbox 360 owner.

Four types of Xbox 360 have been produced, although currently only two are available for purchase in stores, the Xbox 360 Arcade and the Xbox 360 Elite.

What can 360 do?

As well as gaming, the Xbox 360 can also be used to watch movies and listen to music.

Unlike the original Xbox, the 360 has a wireless controller and other accessories.

The front of the dashboard features a "light ring", which shows 4 quadrants illuminated in red or green.

When the light turns red, the panel has encountered an error condition, the number of illuminated areas will inform the user of what kind of error.

When the ring turns completely red, throw away your Xbox, it's ruined, this is called "Red Ring of Death" and it'll be on Xbox near you soon!
