You only need to build things without any goals, and that is enough to keep anyone entertained for hours, days or even longer.

1932: Enterprise was founded in Denmark by Ole Kirk Christian and son, wooden toys were sold.
1949: Automatic brick production company, These are the basics of Lego tiles that we know today.
1951: Building base with 10 x 20 studs was created.
1954: Lego window and doors have been created.
1959: LEGO started to expand around the world.
1961: Lego wheels are invented.
1964: LEGO model car has been created.
1968: Legoland Billund opened on June 7 and attracted more than 3,000 visitors on the first day!
1972: LEGO car expands to boats and ships really floating.
1978: Lego man with moving arm, legs and a friendly smile was invented.
1979: LEGO space set was introduced.
1984: Lego Castle has been invented.
1996: Legoland Billund has 25 million visitors since opening in 1968.
1997: The first Lego video game was created.
1999: Lego Star Wars was introduced.
2001: Bob The Builder and Harry Potter Lego have been created.
2003: LEGO spiders are invented.
2006: LEGO introduces SpongeBob Squarepants.
2008: Indiana Jones LEGO has been created.
